Mexican food at its highest quality, taste and at the lowest price!
Standing Out
Woody’s Tacos isn’t just another run-of-the-mill type of Mexican restaurant. It’s better than that! Woody’s may not seem like much from the outside, but what they’ve got cooking in the kitchen will leave your mouth watering for more.
From their shrimp tacos to their tortilla chicken soup (my two personal favorite items on the menu), you won’t believe how ’non-fast food’ this place really is. The service is fast, efficient and constantly happy and eager to assist in any way possible. Their prices are low to average and considering you’re getting quality food at a budget rate, you’re doing great already!

The guacamole is out of this world, and quite unique in its method of preparation (a secret in the kitchen, which I’m afraid I’m not privy to). The customers agree with me, too. In fact, some demand to pay more for their guac just to get some when the kitchen is out of avocados!
It may seem hard to believe, but there is literally nothing bad you can order at this restaurant. The quality of the food here is unreal, but I’m repeating myself. I’ll go on anyway. The food is delicious!
Try their carne asada quesadilla wraps, or their crunch tacos – nothing you order is a mistake.
Location
While they may be closing in downtown Vancouver, Washington very soon, the good news is that their new location up on Mill Plain will be opening up in the new year. We’re all very happy to hear they will not be leaving town anytime soon!
Most importantly though, the owners are fantastic! This is the kind of place, whether they know your name or not, they’ll treat you like old friends and sit and chat with you if you invite them over. Don’t leave without trying their hibiscus tea either (which isn’t actually tea) – you won’t be sorry!
So what are you waiting for? You know you want to taste the most delicious Mexican food in the Pacific Northwest – dare I say, even in the country? So stop in to Woody’s Tacos. Just make sure that when you do, you let them know that Lisa sent you!
