You might not expect to find delicious Spanish wines, delicious tapas style Spanish food, and an incredibly comfortable B&B experience in the suburbs of Vancouver, Washington. But here at Emanar Cellars in Battle Ground you get all of that rolled into one.
Few have ever heard of Vancouver, Washington (my hometown), but even fewer have probably ever heard of the suburb (or a suburb) known as Battle Ground, Washington. Located north of Vancouver, this rather sleepy town is not one many often visit who are outside of the greater Vancouver area.
But the owners of Emanar have transformed this piece of property into a gem in a place often overlooked.
The wine cellar houses some of the most delicious Spanish wines I’ve ever tried, and their tapas menu is simply mouth watering.
If you’re an out-of-towner, stay upstairs in their Airbnb which is a massive 2-bedroom apartment-like abode. Homey, inviting, comfortable and designed with a European twist, you will feel like you’re visiting Europe without leaving the comforts of America.

The owners are incredibly friendly and what they have created and put on offer should raise interest in any tourist, whether they’re intentionally visiting the area or not.
My advice: take a trip to Battle Ground, Washington and see for yourself just how unique a place this really is.
