Welcome to Cuvee Cocktail & Fish Bar, where atmosphere is everything and cocktails are the garnish. If you’re looking for a place that has classic drink recipes and a quiet vibe, you won’t find that here. The unorthodox approach to drinks though is nothing to worry you. The tone at this hip very modern establishment has been around for just over a year’s time. Impressively, the bar has done considerably well in its short existence. With a new and bold take on cocktails that you won’t find in other parts of the city, Cuvee doesn’t just offer drink experiences.
They also offer a fresh apperitvo menu, fish style. Seafood is the mode of the joint, and if you’re into raw salmon and other such fare, then this is your place! Though, the drinks and food are not the only reason to frequent this bar. For me, I came for the ambiance and decor which won me over the first time I saw the place.
Style
While it’s no nightclub or upscale restaurant, its flair for style and unique presentation is what most certainly lures the crowds in, and crowds there are. The place is so busy in fact, that on the night I chose to visit the bar was jam packed. Make sure to call ahead to reserve a table if you’re in a large group.

In the end, whether it’s the dining, drinking or decor your aiming to enjoy, you will indeed have a pleasant experience at Cuvee. And don’t forget to check them out Thursday nights when they have live music, something the owner is particularly proud of and tells me is worth a visit.
