Though Il Principe in Centro may not be an enoteca exactly, they do have lots of wines to choose from. Some very good ones, I might add. And while they are more of a coffee shop (sort of) rather than a wine bar, they wear many hats. The influx of patrons is primarily during the day, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have their evening apperitivo. Whether you’re stopping in for lunch or an evening cocktail, Il Principe’s doors are open to anyone and everyone.
While the sandwich shop offers more than just a few different pannini and pastries, there is a small menu to choose from if you’d like some more restaurant-styled prepared meals. Which is kind of cool and unique to a place as small and fast as this. Considering that you are in the very heart of Bologna too, the prices at ‘Il Principe’ will leave you amazed. The average panino is roughly 3-5 Euro.
The staff by the way are molto simpatici and will bring a smile to your face as soon as you see theirs. With delicious food, drinks and fantastic service, there’s really no reason not to stop in.
