Massages. Just Do It.
When I spent two days at Luxury Living, I never wanted to leave. Why? Because I enjoy getting the full treatment. Not only was the bed the most comfortable I slept on throughout my entire stay in Greece, but it was also the most beautiful. And did I mention the massages? Oh my God, the massages. My masseuse, Angelos knocked my socks off. Well, to be fair, they were already off. But he knocked all the stress out of me, that’s for sure.
Angelos gave me the “Cleopatra”, which is apparently the spa’s pride and joy of treatments. The Cleopatra entails having a full body skin peel, followed by soaking in a jacuzzi with goat’s milk. And no, it wasn’t as weird as it sounds. Actually, it was incredible, and my skin never felt smoother than after that goat’s milk bath. Directly following the jacuzzi… Angelo massaged my entire body in the dim light for one full hour. His hands. Oh, his hands. His hands, and my feet were meant to be togther. That’s all I’m going to say.
Oh, and by the way, this was all done in my room. That’s right. I had booked the “special” room, which is perfectly suited for a honeymoon couple. The apartment is split into two rooms. With a bedroom, bathroom and additional spa room inside your own apartment, you won’t have trouble finding zen here.
The spa section of the apartment comes complete with a large jacuzzi designed for couples, and even a sauna!
But let’s get back to Angelos and those hands of his…
The massage was so incredible, and I felt so unbelievably relaxed, I requested another massage the following evening. This time, it was just my feet which had the pleasure of being massaged by a Greek man in the dark.
Location
While I had a particularly special room, normally guests will enjoy receiving their facials, body treatments and more in the spa on the 3rd floor of the building. With wonderfully soothing music playing in the background, they offer headphones as well. The staff are always on-call during reception hours, and are happy to rub those stressful knots away whenever you like.
The location? Luxury Living Apartments & Spa is located right in the heart of the city center. An ideal spot, they are near restaurants, bars, and cafes. And, as an added bonus, they are right in the shopping district as well. You will not be bored or sore while staying here.
