Aixcursions – Aix-en-Provence, France

My trip to France would have been nice, but it was fantastic thanks to Aixcursions. With an extremely clever name, an unbelievably friendly owner (who is also the company’s sole driver), and an exhaustive list of tours on offer with the company, Aixcursions is by far and away your best bet at having an unforgettable experience while in the south of France.

Cyrille, the owner and private chauffeur, is a savvy entrepreneur who has dedicated himself to his latest company over the past several years. With experience in the construction industry, he has plenty of business experience in his past and present, and is continuing the journey (literally and figuratively speaking) with Aixcursions.

For those visiting the south of France and looking for a private tour and transfer company to drive them around, show them around and educate them on the region and surrounding areas, there’s no one better than Cyrille. With a luxury Mercedes van which can hold up to seven passengers, his service is impeccable and all that anyone could ask for when traveling to Provence.

Taking us on an “aixcursion”, we traveled to a charming town near Chateau La Coste, after viewing the lavender fields, of course.

The day we arrived at the airport, Cyrille kindly picked us up at the airport and chauffeured us to our hotel. The next day we spent our second full day in France touring the famous fields, the chateau – even doing a little wine tasting – and then heading off to a quaint French town where we ate baguette bread and skipped about joyfully. Well, maybe I did all the skipping, and it was joyful.

Needless to say, his professionalism, knowledge of the surrounding areas and then some was not just useful but incredibly educational. Everything from a comfortable pick up to a private tour around the south of France – how can you beat that?
