The Glacier

It’s so much fun walking around the center of a quaint and charming European town, but what’s even more fun is stopping in to a quaint and charming glacier shoppe where crêpes and sundaes are an all-day experience. I had the pleasure of popping in here on my second day in Aix-en-Provence, and was charmed by the couple who own the shoppe, and also by the delicious crêpes and ice cream they serve here.
With tons of options as far as flavor go, they serve both sweet and savory crêpes as well. There is only outdoor seating, as the inside is simply for selecting your ice cream flavor – lavender being the most popular since Aix-en-Provence is famous for their lavender fields.
I was highly impressed with the flavors, the charm of the tiny nook they call a business, and of course with the friendliness of the owners.

If ever in Aix again, I would gladly stop in to get something tasty to eat on the go, as I walk around the famous town with ice cream in hand. Just make sure that when you pop in, you let them know that Lisa sent you!
