With all the many places to visit when in Aix-en-Provence, you might be wondering why a nightclub? After all, the region is known for its wineries, history all set against its beautiful scenic backdrop. So, a nightclub isn’t exactly what first springs to mind when thinking of this famous town in the south of France. But Le Shakespeare is a happening place to be on late nights when you’re in the mood for some shots, specialty cocktails, pub food, and lively, loud music and patrons.
Dancing is a must here, and it’s hard not to get swept away by the DJ’s picks of music. The bartenders are talented and create some delicious mixes, while the food is perfect fare for soaking up that alcohol.
The atmosphere is very cool, with dim blue lighting and plenty of seating throughout the bar in case you need to rest from time to time. Located right in the heart of Aix, it’s close to the hotels and other accommodations in town, so you don’t have to walk far after your evening out.
The staff is extremely friendly and overall the experience here is a blast of a time. Do stop in to check them out, order a “Lisa’s Cocktail” named after moi, and meet some friendly people while you’re there as I did.
