For a medieval ambiance and a superb taste you won’t find anywhere else in Barletta, head to Al Tetuccio Ristorante & Pizzeria!
The Food
With an innovative take on cuisine, Al Tetuccio Ristorante & Pizzeria has a little bit of everything. From their seafood, to their pasta to their pizza, there’s a whole cornucopia of choices to choose from here. The main statement here is ingenuity and an artfully playful flare to the classic Southern Italian cuisine.
The owner of Al Tetuccio also offers diners a “fast food” style sandwich shop a few blocks away at PucciAre, which gives customers the opportunity to build their own panini.
But the style at Al Tetuccio is a combination of their sister pannini shop and that historical charm that Barletta is so well known for. Artistic murals, combined with classic 4th century cobblestone walls, it works in unison in a funky and modern way.

Al Tetuccio has that more sit-down, white linen cloth feel – with very reasonable prices. The vibe at Al Tetuccio is medieval in style, and offers guests the feeling of eating in the past – who could ask for more?
The food delicious, the service outstanding, and the wine choices excellent (even their olive oil is some of the best I’ve ever had in Italy) – there’s no reason to have a lunch or a nice leisurely dinner here. Everything is top notch, and one of the best places you’ll dine while in Barletta.

Just remember that when you do come in, you let them know that Lisa sent you!
