In 2019, I had the opportunity to visit an innovative and exciting new establishment, which had only been open a short time. A restaurant that was presented as a “show restaurant” almost like each dish modeling itself for the customer. The presentations were fabulous, and the ambiance just as much so.
All working together in unison, the chill and sophisticated vibe of an underground restaurant evokes a posh and slightly dark undercurrent throughout the establishment. With fountains cascading behind walls, lights on the sides of all the floors and servers in modernly stylish attire, Essentia is certainly well named a show restaurant.
With cocktails, a casual and upscale bar-like environment upstairs, downstairs is where all the food action takes place. With each course coming out more exquisitely presented than the last, I highly enjoyed everything I had that night.
From seafood to pasta, to the amazing delicious chocolate dessert I had to finish off the evening. They also have fantastic wines as well, so don’t skip that while dining here.
