One thing everyone should know abut Naples is that it is the birthplace of what we know today as pizza. A staple in just about everyone’s favorite food lists around the world, when in Naples, one must try pizza.

Don’t be fooled though, Antonio & Antonio, which opened in 1999, doesn’t just serve the famous Napolese favorite – they have a lot more going on. For example, I had mussles, some wine and even their tuna salad. A plentiful list of options to choose from, Antonio & Antonio won’t disappoint which their incredibly friendly staff and insane view!
And the view I keep bringing up? It’s of Castello dell’Ovo – Egg Castel. There’s no more recognizable spot in Naples than this one, as it can be seen from Naples’ spectacular panoramic view. Just a few feet from this castle, waits Antonio & Antonio’s patio for your dining pleasure. Needless to say, it’s located right in the heart of the city, with easy movement around the center. Hail a taxi, grab a horse and buggy, or walk around at your leisure – any way you cut it, the centralized spot is ideal.
Food is fresh, view is unforgettable, and service unbeatable – quite possibly the friendliest in the city.
