While visiting the charming town of Bellagio, I had the opportunity one afternoon to be driven around the area in a very comfortable and luxurious Mercedes-Benz. The company, Bellagio Taxi, pulled out all the stops for me, and even transported the van onto a ferry where we visited nearby towns as well. Getting to see Lake Como from all different sides, the ride and the day were equally memorable. My driver could not have been any friendlier, and the car more comfortable.
Come to find out halfway through the trip, my driver was George Clooney’s occasional chauffer when he was still living in the upscale northern town.
Bellagio Taxi caters guests in all different forms; be it transfer to and from the airport, getting you to and from your accommodation, or simply driving you around the lake like they did for me, offering an unofficial tour of the area.
