Welcome to Ellen’s, where whatever you eat is a great decision, it’s just a matter of what to pick!
The menu is large, and so was my appetite the day I ventured into Ellen’s. From grits to gravy, burgers and sides to whole wheat or rye, Ellen’s has just about everything you can conceive of and more.
Though classic American breakfast can be found anywhere, Ellen’s has some unique stuff that is not to be sniffed at. There’s the “Joe’s Balls” section which features their specialty deep fried balls stuffed with a few different variations; and then there’s their “Brunchy Booze” which offers guests the opportunity to have some mimosas, beers, wines and margheritas.
And if it’s not anything new and creative you’re looking for, you can stick with their classic menu entrees, which offer eggs of all kinds, salads, sandwiches and more.
Being downtown, they are centrally located, and their diner decor is low key and inviting that anyone and everyone will enjoy their time here.
