If you’re looking for great barbeque while in the greater Dallas area, then look no further than Sonny Bryan’s!
With some of the most tender meat around, and the best Bar-B-Que sauce in town, Sonny Bryan’s is a down home type of restaurant, with no frills. All cowboy, all country, all tasty and delicious, there’s not much more you could ask for while visiting the “Big D”.
The restaurant, the first location of which was located on Mockingbird Lane in Dallas proper, has been alive and well since 1910. The chain that has been flourishing for over a century, used to stay open until they ran out of approximately 800 pounds of meat – by approximately 1 o’clock in the afternoon. A testament to how good the food here is.
Many might say that the better barbeque is at Franklin’s in Austin – but Sonny Bryan’s might just have them beat. With a signature sauce that is not to be missed, an incredibly friendly vibe and atmosphere – and with several locations around the DFW metroplex, you’re sure to fall in love with their food.
