Love and War in Texas

Love and War in Texas – Plano, Texas

Few meals make you cry with joy because it tastes so good. Love and War in Texas is one of those places. Perhaps the name has its own significance, but my take on it is probably different. You’ll love the food so much, you’ll be warring with yourself over how much more to order!

Love and War in Texas might be a staple in Plano, but for an outsider like me, it’s a real special treat into  southern comfort cooking.  From their delectable ribs, to their adult macaroni and cheese – just about everything you taste here will make you a lifelong lover of the restaurant.

With average to slightly above average prices, Love and War in Texas renders both loyal and new customers speechless with their incredible flavors and plentiful portions.

The décor and overall vibe at Love and War in Texas is probably what you would expect to be. Everything Texas, everything cowboy, everything all-American in the most Texan way. With spurs, boots, and even a rifle and deer head on display, you definitely feel like you are in the Lone Star State when you walk in to Love and War.

And it’s not just great food they have on offer here either. Love and War in Texas has a full bar, actually accommodating its guests in an altogether separate space of the establishment. With neon lights, beer signs and more, the bar is even more down-home than the food itself.

With spacious tables and ample room for loads of patrons all at once, Love and War is busy all the time and for good reason.  They have amazing food, drinks and service. You can also buy merchandise here, with an array of products to commemorate your visit to the well-established Texan restaurant.

But make sure you come on a night when they’re having a live concert – you will definitely get your fill of southern charm! Their live bands might be local, or a little more well known than that. Whoever they are, they rock the back area of the restaurant (which is set outside, tented up) and make sure their customers get their dancing, drinking and good times on while performing.

With all of these reasons to visit Love and War in Texas, there’s hardly an excuse not to check out the unique and terribly Texan spot in Plano. Just make sure that when you do go, you let them know Lisa sent you!
