Opening its doors in 1996, M. Mogger’s is a restaurant & pub that pays homage to the town of Terre Haute’s brewing beginnings. The name, which is in honor of Matthias Mogger, a German immigrant who helped paved the way for the brewing in town back in the 1800s.
Today, M. Mogger’s is a local spot where the townspeople can come in and enjoy over a hundred different types of beer; not to mention more than a dozen different tasty menu items to go along with it. And if beer isn’t your thing, why not try some of their specialty cocktails – which are absolutely fantastic.

Their beer may be what their known for, and the food might invite you to stay, but the service is really what will draw you back in. I was highly impressed with the staff and management here at M. Mogger’s and I will come back just for them alone. The old school decor meshed with bar vibes also adds to the charm of this place. Casual attire required, and no one will ever feel out of place.
So the next time you’re in the town of Terre Haute, stop in to M. Mogger’s to visit the fun restaurant and pub. Just make sure that when you do pop in, you let them know that Lisa sent you!
