Perfect Peace Luxury Cabin – Broken Bow, Oklahoma

Are you ready to be spoiled beyond any stretch of your immediate imagination? Are you ready to be in the most luxurious cabin that Broken Bow has to offer? Just wait until you see what you’ve been missing out on until now. You will be blown away by Perfect Peace Luxury Cabin, and just how incredible the experience can be.

I had the privilege to spend 3 incredible nights at this magnificent cabin the middle of the woods. Words cannot fully describe and detail the amount of joy this place is able to bring one while they stay here. The cabin is not just comfortable, modern and yes – very luxurious – it’s simultaneously very homey, cozy, warm and down right fun.

My friend and I spent a weekend together here and indulged in all the activities that the place has on offer. From making smores (all the ingredients of which are complimentary inside the cabin), to using the hot tub Jacuzzi, to playing games in the rec room – there’s so much to be done here, and so much fun, and also so much relaxation to be had.

But of course, I wanted to dig a little deep and find out how this cabin even came about and how the owner found herself being the proprietor of such a beautiful piece of real estate.

“I have lots of family in the Broken Bow area so I grew up around there, and I love it. We had taken a few family vacations there over the years. When we decided to move into short term rentals, this area was a natural choice for us because we knew we’d use the cabin ourselves. We purchased the property in November 2021.”

Prior to owning the cabin, her husband was working in his current career as an executive while she toiled away at her graphic designing job.  While her husband is still in his profession she left her position and decided to venture out into full time property management for their different rental properties.

And lest you think they only let strangers stay here, her family makes plenty of use out of the cabin.

“We visit each of our properties for vacations.  One of the main criteria for us when buying a new short term rental is that it will hold our family (we have a huge family – 10 kids (and extras), and it’s somewhere we want to vacation.”

When asked what she thinks makes their property so special, she replies,

“We have a super special location being at the end of the road so we are isolated, which is difficult to find in other cabins in the area. This really makes our cabin live up to its name, “Perfect Peace.”

One of the coolest things I’ve actually ever heard about any property where I’ve stayed, is the history behind the cabin. Brandi tells me,

“The family that built this cabin built it as a peaceful getaway for the wife who was suffering with       cancer…thus, the name. They had Bible verses written into the actual foundations of the cabin.”  Which makes this place all the more cool.

And in case you are worried after reading the entire article (and seeing the video of my 3-day stay here) that Brandi doesn’t have any other properties, rest assured, she does. With another spot to look forward to in the future in Gulf Shores, Alabama, I’m told that property is a beautiful beach house, and I’m pretty much packing as I write this. But just in my head.

The 2,824 square foot home is quite possibly the most idyllic, and beautiful property where I’ve ever had the opportunity to sleep in America. With rustic nods to the traditional cabin in the woods, it also screams modern comforts left and right. With handy and convenient things like wood left out for the bonfire in the back, a washer and dryer set that you can use whenever you like, and a flat screen TV in every single room of the cabin – you won’t feel like you’re “roughing it” by any stretch of the imagination.  And because the cabin has 14 beds in total and can accommodate up to 20 people at once for sleeping, there’s no shortage of room or space here.

My friend and I spent our time either lounging on the living room sofa watching YouTube on their Roku device, using the outdoor grill to make steaks the first night and hamburgers the last, playing a variety of games in their game room, or our personal favorite, chilling in the hot tub on the outdoor patio with lights wrapped around above head.

The experience was unforgettable and truly high end. Few places leave a lasting impression like this, and whatever you spend to stay here will be worth it. Though the prices are rather high, depending on your budget and if you’re looking to split the cost with friends, the dollar amount meets the quality and standard of stay.

Their average high season prices are $1,199 per night, while their average low season prices are $499 per night.

Broken Bow became my new favorite place. Just 3 hours from Dallas, Texas, and roughly the same from the west Arkansas border, you’re in a good strategic location.  Perfect Peace is located at the end of a road, as Brandi mentioned earlier, in the woods. So while there are neighbors, they are just far enough away that you feel very secluded with an enormous amount of privacy.

They do have rules at the house, and out of respect for the owners, who are not there to babysit you, it’s polite to be respectful of those rules. They have policies about smoking (never in the house) or being too rowdy after a certain hour of the night for the neighbors who are within ear shot.

The loudest I may have been was stepping out of the boiling hot Jacuzzi into the brisk February air at night in my bathing suit. The animals may have been frightened by my shriek, but otherwise, we were as quiet as mice enjoying our fun and relaxing time here.

The area of Broken Bow is rife with hiking opportunities, glorious and beautiful natural vistas and breathtaking scenery that would make even the least outdoorsy person become a new nature lover.

So no matter what you’re doing here, the cabin is ideal for staying in or going out and then coming back to a luxuriously comfortable retreat.

Needless to say, there are a lot of reasons to stay here, but not the least of which are the extensive amenities that Perfect Peace offers. In no particular order, here’s everything you’ll have at your ready while staying here.

Glamping at it’s highest level is what you can call this piece of heaven known as Perfect Peace. Not only is the setting perfectly peaceful but the accommodations themselves and the overall feel and vibe of the cabin will leave you wanting to move in. And yes, the high vaulted ceilings were so mesmorizing and overwhelming when I was there the first night. But by the third evening, I had started to get so used to them and everything else in the cabin, it was starting to feel like home. I genuinely didn’t want to leave.

Overall, if you’re going to stay in the serenity of the woods, this is so totally the way to do it. I would be remiss however if I didn’t mention a few things to pay attention to in the area. As their welcome note states, there are things you should try to be careful of while in the woods.  Bugs, and snakes…oh and maybe bears. While I was lucky and all of them seemed to be hibernating while I visited, the property is still deep in the woods, in a very secluded and natural spot. It’s highly likely that if you are staying here in spring or summer you will run into one or all of these aforementioned members of nature.

Be mindful of your surroundings, and know too that if you’re not planning to spend a lot of money on groceries, you should definitely shop before you arrive. I was only able to locate one small market in town, and the prices were crazy expensive. Bottles of wine were at an average of between $60-90 when I could buy the same or equivalent at a local liquor store anywhere else in the country for between $10-20. The eggs were over $8 a dozen, and steaks were over $30 per pound. That having been said, I stuck to grapes and hamburger meat.

This shouldn’t however discourage you from staying at the cabin. I myself had a cooler and if you plan accordingly, you can still make the stay very budget friendly. Nor should this discourage you from the visiting the town of Broken Bow, either. It’s a wonderful place and it was truly a wonderful experience.

So what are you waiting for? You know you want to spend a weekend getaway in this charming and super fancy cabin in the woods of Oklahoma! Just make sure that when you do book your stay, you let them know that Lisa sent you!
